Blessed Charles - Cause:- Informative Process - letter from Bernard Mangan, St. Mungo's, to Gerald O.Boyle. He lived with Charles for 3 years and will be glad to help in an way he can. Encloses a list of names of fathers still surviving who had also lived with Charles. ( N.B., At date of entering this item, that list was not available.)
Blessed Charles - Cause;- Informative Process - letter from Rev. T,O'Donnell, Archbishop's Secretary to Gerald O'Boyle regarding the appointment of a second notary (Notarius Actuarius). Law provides for only one notary and archbishop wishes to have a second appointed to assist and replace Fr. O'Donnell when he is not able to attend sessions of the process. A notarius actuarius is quite different from an notarius adiunctis who "comes on later in the game" and so, evidently, could not act as O'Donnell's replacement. Gerald should, therefore, get in touch with the Postulator for the appointment of two notarii actuarii.
Blessed Charles - Cause;- Informative Process - letter from Placid Stevens, Sutton, to Gerald O'Boyle stating that he can be of no help as a witness. Only remembers one priest who was a student with Charles but never had a private conversation with him. Mentions that the Dutch process treated of Charles's entire life and what happened after his death. Oswald Donnelly, in his research, must have consulted the Belgian archives. If some official document is required, he suggests that Gerald should contact either the Bishop of Roermund or the Dutch Vice-Postulator, Fr. Edmund.
Blessed Charles - Cause;- Informative Process - letter from Malachy Gavin, Highgate, to Gerald O'Boyle. He will be coming to give evidence. Gives details of the return travel arrangements that he wants Gerald to make for him.
Blessed Charles - Cause;- Informative Process - letter from Fr. Brendan Keegan (https://passionistarchives.ie/index.php/fr-brendan-keegan/ ), writing from St. Mary's Convent, Southam, Warrickshire, where he is giving a retreat, to Gerald O'Boyle, who had evidenty asked Fr. Keegan to consult the novitiate archives at Broadway for information on Charles. Unfortunately, those archives are of the smallest dimensions, everything having been parcelled up and sent to The Graan on the transfer of the novitiate there. The "Professed Archives" have yielded no information, nor has the platea which have been carefully written up from the change from Woodchester to Broadway. Very sorry that he has not been able to be of any assistance.
Blessed Charles - Cause;- Informative Process - letter from Rev. T.O'Donnell, Archbishop's Secretary, to Gerald O'Boyle arranging a meeting for "Monday at 1.30 p.m.".

No need for Gerald to bring any other documents than those he had mentioned. (N.B., No indication as to what the documents are. Were they in connection with the special faculties re judges mentioned in letter entered under serial no 6099?)
