Volume I is lacking the spine binding. The spine and cover binding on volume II is partially detached. Foxing is evident throughout the volumes. It appears that some of the maps have been cut out of the atlas volume.

Manuscript inscription on title page of atlas reads: ‘Capuchin Friary, Kilkenny’. Stamps on the other volume read: ‘Bibliothecæ Capuccinorum Conventus Kilkenniensis’. The maps were drawn by R. Creighton and engraved by John Dower.
